Stephen Starr is the owner of several of Philadelphia's most well known restaurants, Buddakan, The Continental, El Vez, Jones, Morimoto, Pod, Striped Bass, Tangerine, Washington Square, Barclay Prime, tangerine, Alma De Cuba and the The Continental Midtown. (All of these restaurants are part of the Starr Restaurant Organization).
   He also operates a Morimoto and Buddakan in New York City in addition to a Buddakan and a Continental in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Starr is also expected to open another restaurant in Philadelphia in Rittenhouse Square named Parc Bistro.
